January 13, 2015.  I always enjoy beginning Math 131 with this old Maw and Paw Kettle video.  To me this video speaks volumes about the misconceptions our students can have involving the operations of mathematics.  As human beings we do not all process operations in the same way.  As educators we must look for alternatives to reach all our students.  At times this can be a daunting task.  My goal in Math 131 is to provide future educators with the tools to do just that.
